LENGTH OF STAY
1. Can guests book longer or shorter than the 8 Days/7 Nights vacation?
Yes-My Great Jamaica Getaway will custom quote rates for the exact length of stay requested.
FOOD/MEALS1. How do the meals work?
Joyce, the Cook, will prepare all meals and will shop at the market for you. Joyce was rated as one of the north coast of Jamaica's finest chefs. She and her staff will prepare Jamaican cuisines and gourmet style meals. She also will prepare any food that you bring back from the market, or will prepare any standard dish you suggest.
2. Is the price for food included in the rates?
No-grocery bills are the guest(s) responsibility.
3. How much money do we need for food and drinks for the week?
A full house of (8) guests will spend an average of $100US per guest, for the week. This covers all food and drinks from the market.
4. Can we shop for our own food and will Joyce cook and prepare it?
Yes- Joyce will prepare and cook all meals, even if you bring groceries home on your own.
5. Is there group dining, where everyone eats together?
All of your guests may eat at any time they wish through out your stay.
If you request, special dinners will be provided including banquet meals beside the pool.
PERSONAL DRIVER
1. How much does it cost for the airport pickup?
The rate is negotiable with the driver, but average price is:
1 Person: $40US each way
2-4 People: $80US per group, each way
4-8 Guests: $20US per person, each way
8-10 Group: $150 per group, each way
2. How many people can be picked up?
1-10 guest(s) with plenty of luggage space.
3. Will the driver pick up other guests from other locations?
Yes-if special requirments are needed please let My Jamaica Getaway know ahead of schedule, or just tell the driver when you are there.
4. How long is the ride to the villa from the airport?
Approximately 55 miles or 1 1/2 hour ride through the tropical countryside.
5. Will the driver stop at locations on the way to the villa?
Yes-if you request to stop anywhere, your driver will stop.
6. Is the personal driver registered with the tourist board?
Yes
7. Will the personal driver be available the whole vacation?
Yes
8.How do we contact the driver during our stay?
Once a confirmation is made, My Jamaica Getaway will provide our guests with the cell phone number to contact the driver for personal service at any and all times (24hrs) during the vacation.
9. How much does it cost to use the personal driver to go out?
The average rate for 4-5 hours with the personal driver averages
$20US per guest. The driver will wait for you to tour and shop, and will bring you back to the villa when you are ready.
10. Do we have to pay for gas
No-gas is included in the price.
WEDDINGS AND HONEYMOONS
Can we arrange and host our wedding at Villa Boonoonoonoos?
Yes-Boonoonoonoos meaning "sweatheart" is the perfect place to hold a wedding or reception. We also will cater or prepare any style meals and wedding cakes desired. Just inquire about all wedding plans and catering.
PRIVATE BEACH
1. Is the beach free?
Yes
2. Is the beach for villa guest(s) only?
Yes- the beach is private, for Cardiff Hall/Villa Boonoonoonoos
guest(s) only.
3. Can we bring people we meet to the beach?
Yes-you are free to bring people you meet to the beach with you, provided a guest from the villa is present.
4. What is the beach like?
Villa Boonoonoonoos/Cardiff Hall's beach abutts Breeze's Runaway Bays all-inclusive beach on the left, and the public beach on the right. The villas beach is beautiful and very private! The north coast hosts miles of the finest beaches in Jamaica. There are large eatable almond trees with which you can gain shade. There are also benches and lawn chairs to sit and picnic. Red Stripe and Jamaican Rum are readily available.
5. Is the villa located right on the beach (waterfront)?
No- there is a short 7-10 minute walk through the golf course path or 10-15 minutes on the main road that cascades down the hill to the beach. Gorgeous trees and plants line the quiet walk.
TIPS
1. Do we need to tip staff members when we are there?
No-the rate for the villa covers all staff tips, and all taxes.

What is the average temperature and climate?
80 degrees F/27 celsius;75-85 year round tropical weather
The northeast trade winds and mountain breezes keep the temperature pleasant year round.
When is the best season to visit?
All times! Because the climate is so beautiful and a constant 75-85,
there is no real change in temperature, making it ideal for any season.
The rain season is from May to June and September to October.
July is one of the dryest months in the year. Dec-March is the most popular tourist season.

At this time we do not book any other vacation homes or villas. We will locate neighboring villas and/or timeshares if larger groups or weddings require it.
